I’m Giving Away a Résumé + LinkedIn Package

I’m excited to share something new—and very meaningful to me. I’ve launched the New Heights Scholarship Program, an opportunity to give back by doing what I love: helping someone recognize their professional value, tell their career story, and position themselves for what comes next.

Once each quarter, I will select one deserving individual to receive my professional résumé writing and LinkedIn profile services completely free of charge.

I know firsthand that career transitions can happen unexpectedly. Someone may be facing a job loss, trying to reenter the workforce, making a career change, or simply struggling to get noticed in a competitive job market. And sometimes, the cost of professional career services just isn’t feasible when someone needs them most.

That’s where I’m hoping you can help.

As a current or former NHRS client, you know the time and care that goes into the résumé development process. Think about the people in your life. Is there someone whose talents aren't coming through on their résumé? Someone who has a great story but doesn't know how to tell it? Someone who could use a little help getting their foot in the door?

You can nominate someone—or individuals may apply on their own behalf.

Applications and nominations are open through September 30. After submissions close, I’ll personally review each one. Everyone who applies or submits a nomination will hear from me by October 15 with an update and, for those moving forward, information about next steps.

When considering recipients, I’ll look at each individual’s current circumstances, career goals, need for professional career services, commitment to their job search, and the potential impact this assistance could have.

If someone is nominated by another person, I’ll ask the nominee to accept the nomination and confirm their commitment to participating in the process before moving forward. The selected recipient will then meet with me via Zoom so I can learn more about their career history, accomplishments, job search, and desired career direction.

The recipient will receive the same level of care, thought, strategy, and attention I bring to every NHRS client.
